Annual Gem & Mineral Show

Our 2019 Annual Gem & Mineral ShowThe Payson Rimstones Rock Club will have its 2022 Annual Gem & Mineral Show September 16th through 18th at the Mazatzal Hotel and Casino Event Center, on HWY 87 at mile marker 251, Payson AZ on the Tonto Apache Reservation.

Gems, minerals, fossils, lapidary equipment, jewelry and jewelry findings, slabs or rough material plus much more is available from our vendors. The club sponsors an education center for the children and adults with a geologist to answer questions, a Spinning Wheel (where everyone wins a rock!), a magnificent fluorescent mineral display, a free Treasure Hunt for junior rock collectors, beading, sandstone/rock painting, and much more. A silent auction area for those folks interested in obtaining beautiful minerals and rocks is available too! All our proceeds go toward supporting scholarships for graduating Payson High School students and students who are residents of Northern Gila County attending a college of their choice, as well as books and educational materials for the local elementary schools and public libraries. The Payson Rimstones Rock Club, Inc is a 501(c)(3) non-profit gem & mineral club setting aside funding for the higher and/or better education of our local students.

Annual Spring Rock Show

The Payson Rimstones Rock Club also holds an annual spring rock show in a Payson-area shopping center parking lot. The 2022 show occurred on May 14th in the east parking lot by Big Lots on Highway 260 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. This was an outdoor event. All were invited to come see what we and our vendors had for sale. Proceeds support STEM scholarships for graduating Payson High School students and students who are residents of Northern Gila County attending a college of their choice, as well as books and educational materials for the local elementary schools and public libraries.
