How Are Scholarships Funded?

Scholarships are renewable. We generally award three to four scholarships each year. In 2023 we awarded $5500 in eligible scholarship funding.

This year’s scholarships are funded in part by an award from the Mazatzal Hotel & Casino, proceeds from our annual Gem & Mineral Show, Club raffles and Club member donations.

When Are The Scholarships Awarded?

Payson High School (PHS) posts the application on their website each year after scholarship night in early December. The applications are due April 1st and are awarded to the PHS students at the awards ceremony in May. The funds are paid directly to the colleges the students enroll in and are deposited into their accounts at the college.
